Dr. Joseph W. Barlett

Dr. Joseph W. Barlett has practiced for nearly ten years in Charleston, during that time he has developed a reputation as a compassionate and skillful Chiropractor. He has successfully treated a wide range of musculokeletal conditions with a focus on neck and back pain, migraine and tension headaches and shoulder pain. He has completed postgraduate work in spinal rehabilitation, pain management and Chiropractic care during pregnancy. He delivers safe and effective treatments and notes that many of his patients are referred from other Medical Doctors and Spine Surgeons. He has lectured on many health related topics including: Interdisciplinary Spinal Care, Nutrition and Fitness, Osteoarthritis, Ergonomics, Fibromyalgia and American Red Cross Back Injury Prevention.

Dr. Barlett and his wife, Jennifer will celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary in October. They have two great kids Charlie(5) and Livvie, who will turn 2 in October.They are originally from just outside Pittsburgh, PA.

Debora Glenn, APRN, WCC

Debora Glenn, APRN, WCC, has been involved in practice for 34 years. Mrs. Glenn graduated from Chapel Hill University as a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with specialties in Family Medicine, Orthopaedics, Foot and Ankle Care, and National Wound Care Certifications. Mrs. Glenn’s background in Orthopaedics has greatly contributed to our ability to offer quality health care using a multi-disciplinary approach here at Woodruff Wellness Clinic. She is also our Natural Hormone Solutions and Trigger Point Injection Therapy expert

Dr. Robert Sparano, M.D

Dr. Sparano graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Manhattan College in Riverdale, New York. He received his degree in medicine from SUNY Medical Center in Brooklyn , New York.

Dr. Sparano completed his residency as Chief Resident in Emergency Medicine from Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center in Bronx, New York. Since his graduation, he has practiced at many urgent care centers and hospitals around the Charleston area. Currently he is employed as an ER doctor at Roper St. Francis. He is available in our clinic on a walk-in or appointment basis.

In his spare time, Dr. Sparano enjoys watching professional hockey, especially his favorite team-The New York Rangers! He also coaches his childrens’ hockey teams when he is available. Dr. Sparano has seven children ranging in ages between eight and twenty-one. He is happily married to Laura Sparano and attends Seacoast Church on the weekends.

Dr. Sparano is very happy to live in an area with nice, warm weather almost year round, with none of the hassles of snow and ice from New York.

Dr. Stephanie Woodruff

Dr. Stephanie Woodruff was born and raised in Clinton, North Carolina. She attended the University of North Carolina at Wilmington were she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Woodruff then obtained her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Sherman College in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

Dr. Woodruff has advanced training in the diagnosis and treatment of spinal disorders along with nutritional deficiencies.

She utilizes a multi-disciplinary approach, incorporating massage therapy and exercise protocol for wellness. This approach includes working with doctors specializing in multiple areas, so that all patients receive the best possible care.
